You say you want this to be similar to Calvin & Hobbes or even Pogo... I hope that was meant sarcastically. This is about as ham-fisted, unintelligent, and cliche as it gets. Overdone caricature of left- and right-wing thinking, using a bleeping Elephant to represent the Republican ideology... This has none of the cheery exuberance or sly subversion of Pogo, nor the intellect or precision of writing of C&H. I'm sure Watterson and Kelly would both be offended by being associated with this grim caricature of what comics can be.
